I would ask you to read with me Matthew, Chapter 1, Verse 21.
여러분과 마태복음 1장 21절을 같이 읽기 원합니다.

 

 

  "And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS:

for He shall save his people from their sins."
그녀가 한 아들을 낳으리니 너는 그의 이름을 예수라 하라.

이는 그가 자기 백성을 그들의 죄들에서 구원할 것이기 때문이니라."고 하니라.(한글 킹제임스, 마1:21)

 

I ask you to study each of the four gospels.
저는 여러분이 각각의 4복음서들을 공부하시기를 바랍니다.

Each gospel presents a different aspect of Jesus.
각 복음서는 예수님의 다른 면을 다른 관점에서 보고 묘사하고 있습니다.

 

  Matthew presents Jesus as King of the Jews. Mark presents Jesus as the Servant of God.

Luke presents Jesus as a perfect man. John presents Jesus as God in the flesh.
      마태는 예수님을 유대인의 왕으로써 소개합니다.

      마가는 예수님을 하나님의 종으로 소개합니다.

      누가는 예수님을 완전한 인간으로 소개합니다.

      요한은 예수님을 성육신으로 묘사합니다.

 

  In Matthew, an angel speaks to Mary. The angel says, "Call His name Jesus."
마태복음에서 한 천사가 마리아에게 "이름을 예수라 하라"라고 말합니다.

The name Christ is Jesus' official name. The name Christ means the anointed one.

The name Jesus is his saving name.
  그리스도라는 이름은 예수님의 정식이름입니다. 그리스도라는 이름은 기름 부은 자라는 의미를 갖고 있습니다.

 

  예수라는 이름은 자기 백성을 저희 죄에서 구원할 자라는 뜻을 가지고 있습니다.

Jesus is the Greek name for Joshua. The name Joshua means, "Jehovah is my salvation."
  예수라는 이름은 히브리어로 여호수아입니다. 여호수아는 "여호와는 나의 구원"이라는 의미를 갖고 있습니다.

 

The first chapter of Matthew presents the nature of Christ. Jesus is God in the flesh.

마태복음 첫 장은 그리스도의 본체를 잘 나타내고 있습니다.

예수님은 육신을 가지신 하나님이십니다.

 

 

Jesus is King
예수님은 왕이십니다.

The first chapter of Matthew presents the work of Christ.
마태복음 첫 장은 그리스도의 공적 사역을 소개합니다.

Jesus shall save his people from their sins.
예수님은 자기 백성을 저희 죄에서 구원할 자이십니다.

Matthew presents Jesus as a descendant of David. As a descendant of David,

Jesus becomes heir to David's throne.
마태는 예수님을 다윗 왕의 후손으로 나타내고 있습니다.

다윗 왕의 후손으로 예수님은 다윗 왕의 후계자가 되셨습니다.

The angel said, call His name Jesus. Jesus has been given a name above every name.
천사는 그의 이름을 예수라고 하라고 말했습니다. 예수는 모든 이름 위에 뛰어난 이름으로 주어졌습니다

 

 

Why do we call His name Jesus?
왜 우리는 그의 이름을 예수라고 부릅니까?

The angel said, "He shall save His people from their sins." Jesus is able to save the worst sinner.
천사는 말하기를 그는 자기의 백성을 그들의 죄에서 구원할 자라고 하였습니다.

예수님은 이 세상의 어떠한 죄악된 죄인이라도 구원하실 수 있습니다.

People are told to call His name Jesus. Not every one has called Him Jesus.
Some call Him names. Some call him ugly names like devil.
그의 이름은 예수라고 백성들에게 말해졌습니다. 그러나 모든 사람이 다 그를 예수라고 부르지 않았습니다. 어떤 사람들은 예수라는 그의 이름을 불렀습니다.

 

Some call him ugly names like devil. Some call Him "Beelzebub" (The god of flies).
어떤 사람들은 그를 마귀와도 유사한 흉칙한 이름으로 불렀습니다. 어떤 사람들은 그를 바알세불이라고 불렀습니다.

 

What men call Him does not count. God hath given Jesus a name that is above every name.
사람들이 그를 어떻게 부르든지 상관이 없습니다. 하나님은 모든 이름 위에 뛰어난 예수라는 이름을 주셨습니다.

 

 

I. Call Him Jesus because it is the right thing to do.
그를 예수라 불러야 합니다. 왜냐하면 그렇게 하는 것이 올바른 처사이기 때문입니다.

1. The reason for His name is He will save his people.
예수라는 그의 이름을 주신 이유는, 그는 자기 백성을 구원할 자이기 때문입니다.

2. Jesus is able to save the worst sinner.
예수는 최고의 괴수라도 구원하실 수 있습니다.

3. Jesus is the only Saviour provided.
예수는 오직 유일한 구세주이십니다.

4. There is no other name under heaven that can save.
하늘 아래 우리를 구원할 다른 이름은 없습니다.

5. There is salvation in no other name.
다른 이름을 가진 구원자는 없습니다.

6. Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures.
그리스도는 성경대로, 우리들의 죄를 위하여 죽으셨습니다.

 

1 Corinthians 15:3 "For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received,

how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures;"
"내가 받은 것을 먼저 너희에게 전달하였나니,

이는 성경대로 그리스도께서 우리의 죄들로 인하여 죽으시고"(한글킹제임스, 고전 15:3)

 

 

 

II. Christians let us call Him Jesus.
모든 성도들은 그를 예수라고 불러야 합니다.

1. There are many names dear to us.
우리 주위에는 수많은 이름들이 있습니다.

2. Our mother, father, doctor, pastor, are dear to us.
우리의 어머니, 아버지, 의사, 목사 등의 이름들이 있습니다.

3. The name Jesus is above these names.
예수의 이름은 모든 이름 위에 뛰어난 이름입니다.

4. Jesus' name is above all names? His blood saves from sin.
예수의 이름은 모든 이름 위에 뛰어납니다. 그의 피가 죄로부터 구원케 합니다.

5. Parents can take care of us when we are babies.
부모는 우리가 어린 아이였을 때 우리들을 양육할 수 있습니다.

6. Doctors can cure our diseases.
의사들은 우리의 질병을 치료할 수 있습니다.

7. Pastors can teach us and comfort us.
목사들은 우리를 가리치기도하며 위로해 줄 수 있습니다.

8. Jesus is the only one that can save.
예수님만이 우리를 구원하실 수 있습니다.

9. Jesus can save us from eternal death.
예수님만이 우리를 영원한 사망에서 구원하실 수 있습니다.

10. Jesus can save us from an eternal hell.
예수님만이 우리를 영원한 지옥으로부터 구원하실 수 있습니다.

11. Because we appreciate what He has done for us, let us call Him
Jesus.
그러므로 그가 우리를 위하여 하신 일에 감사하며, 우리 다 같이 그분을 예수라고 부릅시다.

 

 

 

III. Lost friends . . .will you call Him Jesus?
예수를 모르는 사람들도 그를 예수라고 불러야 합니까?

1. "Whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be  saved." Romans 10:13
누구든지 주의 이름을 부르는 자는 구원을 얻으리로다 (로마서 10:13)

2. Peter walked on the water to meet Jesus.
베드로는 예수님을 만나기 위해 물 위를 걸었습니다.

3. Peter began to sink in the water.
베드로는 물 속으로 빠져들어 가기 시작했습니다.

4. Peter cried out, "Lord save me."
베드로는 "주여 나를 구해주소서"라고 울부짖었습니다.

5. Jesus reached forth His hand, saving him from the water.
예수님은 그의 손을 내밀어 물 속으로 빠져 들어가는 베드로를 구원해 주셨습니다.

6. Unbelievers are sinking down into sin.
불신자들은 죄의 물 속으로 빠져 들어가고 있습니다.

7. When unbelievers cry out to Jesus, He saves them.
불신자들이 예수님께 간절히 부를 때, 예수님은 그들을 구해주십니다.

8. Jesus saves from the eternal lake of fire.
예수님은 영원한 불 못으로부터 구원해 주시는 것입니다.

9. Jesus saves all that come unto Him.
예수님은 누구든지 그에게 오는 사람들은 모두 구원해 주십니다.

10. David said, "The Lord inclined unto me and heard my prayer."
다윗은 "주님 나에게 귀를 기울이시고, 나의 기도를 들어주세요"라고 말했습니다.

11. David said, "He brought me up also out of a miry clay."
다윗은 주님이 더러운 진흙에서 나를 건져냈다고 했습니다.

12. David said, "He set my feet upon a rock and established my going."
다윗은 "주님께서 나의 발을 반석 위에 두사 내 걸음을 견고케 하셨도다"라고 말했습니다.

13. David said, "He hath put a new song in my mouth." Psalms 40:1-3
시편 40:1~3을 보면 다윗은 "새 노래 곧 우리 하나님께 올릴 찬송을 내 입에 두셨으니"라고 말했습니다.

 

JESUS- WHAT A NAME!
예수- 무슨 이름입니까? (얼마나 훌륭한 이름입니까)

1. John the Baptist called Jesus the Lamb of God.
세례 요한은 예수님을 "하나님의 어린양"이라고 불렀습니다.

2. John the Baptist said Jesus taketh away the sins of the world.
세례 요한은 "예수님이 세상 죄를 지고 간다"고 말했습니다.

3. Peter said Jesus was the Son of God.
베드로는 "예수님은 하나님의 아들"이었다고 말했습니다.

4. Jesus said He was the Bread of Life.
예수님은 "자기는 생명의 떡"이라고 말씀하셨습니다.

5. Jesus said He was the door.
예수님은 "자기는 생명의 문"이라고 말씀하셨습니다.

6. Jesus said He was the good shepherd.
예수님은 "자기는 선한 목자"라고 말씀하셨습니다.

7. Jesus said when you see Me, you see the Father.
예수님은 "나를 본 자는 하나님을 보았다"고 말씀하셨습니다.

8. Jesus said the Father and I are one.
예수님은 "아버지와 나는 하나다"라고 말씀하셨습니다.

9. Jesus said I am the resurrection and the life.
예수님은 "나는 부활이요, 생명"이라고 말씀하셨습니다.

JESUS- WHAT A NAME!
예수- 무슨 이름입니까? (얼마나 훌륭한 이름입니까)

1. Paul said Jesus is the author of eternal salvation.
바울은 "예수님은 영원한 구원의 근원"이라고 말했습니다.

2. Paul said Jesus was the anchor of the soul. (Heb. 6:19)
바울은 "예수님은 소망의 닻"이라고 말했습니다.

3. John said Jesus is our advocate. (I John 2:1)
요한은 "예수님은 우리의 대언자"라고 말했습니다.

4. Solomon said Jesus was the altogether lovely one.
솔로몬은 "예수님은 모든 면에서 사랑 받을 만한 자"라고 말했습니다.

5. Paul said Christ is all and in all. (Col. 3:11)
바울은 "그리스도는 만유시며, 만유 안에 계시다"고 말했습니다.

6. Paul said Jesus was the brightness of God's glory. (Heb. 1:3)
바울은 "예수님 하나님의 영광의 광채"라고 말했습니다.

7. John said Jesus was the bridegroom. (Jn. 3:29)
사도 요한은 "예수님은 신랑"이라고 말했습니다.

8. Paul called Jesus King of King? Lord of Lords. (I Tim. 6:15)
바울은 "예수님은 만 왕의 왕이시오, 만주의 주시요"라고 말했습니다.

9. Paul said Jesus was creator of all things. (Col. 1:16)
바울은 "예수님은 만물의 창조자"라고 말했습니다.

10. Isaiah said Jesus was a wonderful counselor. (Isaiah 40:13)
이사야는 "예수님은 모사"라고 말했습니다.

11. Isaiah said Jesus was Mighty God, the everlasting Father, the Prince of Peace.
이사야는 "예수님은 전능하신 하나님이며 영존 하시는 아버지, 평강의 왕"이라고 말했습니다.

12. Jesus is the tender mercy of God.
예수님은 온유하고 자비하신 하나님이십니다.

13. John said Jesus is the light that shined into darkness. (Jn. 1:5)
요한은 "예수님은 어두움 속에서 비치는 빛"이라고 말했습니다.

14. John 3:16 records that whosoever believeth in Jesus has everlasting life.
누구든지 예수님을 믿는 자는 영생을 얻게될 것이라고 요한복음 3:16절에 기록되어 있습니다.

JESUS' NAME IS POWERFUL
예수의 이름은 능력이 있습니다.

1. If you ask anything is His name He will give it. (Jn. 14:13)
무엇이든지 그의 이름으로 구하면 그가 주실 것입니다.

2. John. 20:31. Ye can have life through His name.
그 이름을 힘입어 생명을 얻게 하려함이라. 요한복음 20:31절은 말합니다.

3. In Jesus' name you can cast out devils. (Mark 16:17)
예수님의 이름을 믿는 자는 귀신을 쫓아 낼 수 있습니다. (막 16:17)

4. By receiving Jesus, you can become a Son of God. (Jn. 1:12)
예수님을 영접함으로 당신은 하나님의 아들이 될 수 있습니다.(요 1:12)

5. Repentance and remission of sins should be preached in His name among all nations.(Luke 24:47)
그의 이름으로 회개와 죄사함이 선포되어야 할 것입니다. (눅 24:47)

CONCLUSION:
결론

1. Why should we preach Jesus?
왜 예수님에 대해 설교해야 합니까?

2. We should preach Jesus because "He will save His people from their sin."
예수님은 그의 백성을 그들의 죄에서 구원하시는 자이시기 때문에 우리는 설교하며 전하여야 합니다.

3. We should trust Jesus because He will save us.
우리는 예수를 신뢰해야 합니다 왜냐하면 그는 우리를 구원하실 자이기 때문입니다.

4. We should honor Jesus because there is no other name given to save men.
우리는 예수님을 존귀히 여겨야 합니다. 왜냐하면 인간을 구원할 다른 이름이 없기 때문입니다.

5. We should adore Jesus because His name is the sweetest name on earth.
우리는 예수님을 흠모해야 합니다. 그의 이름은 세상에서 가장 향기로운 이름이기 때문입니다.

Let me exhort you to life up the name of Jesus.
여러분이 예수님의 이름을 높이기를 간곡히 부탁합니다.

Talk about the name Jesus in a good way.
항상 예수님의 좋으심을 서로 말하고

Sing about Jesus.
예수님을 찬양합시다.

Love like Jesus.
주님과 같이 사랑합시다.

Live like Jesus.
예수님과 같은 삶을 삽시다.
